Ingredients for 4 servings

  • 1 Persian salt block
  • 4 pieces roast beef (à 150 g)
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 sprig thyme
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Pepper


  1. Heat the Persian salt block slowly (on ceramic glass cooktop, electric hotplate, electric or gas grill, in the oven or on the charcoal grill).
  2. Chop garlic and thyme and mix with the olive oil.
  3. Fry the roast beef briefly on the Persian salt block on both sides. Before serving, oil the meat with the garlic thyme mixture and sprinkle with freshly ground pepper.
